Yep! lots of the same things like you said. Nicholas does that head tilt too, it is so funny. Anna did it also when she was a baby. I have no idea what they are communicating with that one. But when we do it back to Nick, he laughs and laughs.

I think it is good to have these times of deep heartache. It does, as you say, turn us heavenward. I also think of the verse that says it is better to go to a house of mourning than of feasting. I'm not saying I welcome these times, oh no, but it's awesome to see that you are praying through them, as you said, and allowing God to lead you. You're right -- Easter is coming up, and it's a great time to remember that even though death and sorrow still exist, Jesus conquered it all on that day and we are awaiting the time when he takes us to live in His Paradise! Now if that isn't hope, I don't know what is.

Cool, Marisa. I have slowly working toward getting to my natural dark blonde hair...I refuse to call it dirty blonde. Anyway, it definitely has saved a lot of money, although I'm still doing some highlights. I was thinking about bringing more low lights in in the fall, but we'll see.

I completely agree about Pinterest. It is a place where it is super easy to covet. I try really hard to use is as an idea source and try to only post ideas for crafts, DIY home improvements, and recipes. I even try to "unfollow" specific boards of my friends that don't fit into those categories. :) Thanks for the reminder though. I need to be super careful about not falling into the trap!

Yay Kiah! That video is so freakin cute. And I love the scrunched nose. Anna did that and we called it her "stink face". I realized that Nicholas was trying to make a stink face recently too, but since he literally doesn't have a bridge above his nose there is nothing to scrunch. All he can manage is a curled lip with sniffing.

Good post. I don't do pinterest so I don't know if it is coveting or leads to it or what. But I can say that I whole heartedly agree that the heart is deceptive and it is difficult to sort out the good from the bad. All of us need to spend much time in prayer trying to sort out our thoughts so that we can fight the bad and keep the good.

This is pretty interesting, Marisa. (Or should I say pinteresting? Hehe, jk.) I've had discussions with my friends not so much about pinterest, but about the blog world. It's really easy to start reading other people's blogs and wishing your home was like theirs, wishing you were as awesome a person as they are, etc. I've had to be really careful about how much time I spend "snooping" and "pinning" because I know I can start to get so caught up in that. Discontentedness is just a little too easy for me to fall into.

Thanks for a good thought on this. (Or should I thank your mom??) You're right -- we should check our heart before and while we pin, read, move, and everything else we do. And if we see it's causing harm, it should be cut out.
