once our power was restored i could get back to my crafting, and i finally finally finally finished this project i've been working on forever: a fabric book for kiah!!

i got the idea from
this blog; it took me awhile to figure out what i wanted on my pages. once i figured it out it took me even longer to get it started and drawn and cut out etc etc. but i finished it! eric watched kiah most of saturday and gave me a chance to finished this and a couple of other projects i had wanted to get done (those are gifts so you'll have to wait for pictures!).

i'm really happy with the way it turned out. i did finished my book off a little differently from the tutorial; i wanted the same background for each page so i sewed the pages together accordian style. it worked though, and i love it and so does kiah!
*sorry the pictures are dark...it was gloomy outside.
